As proud supporters of year-round breast cancer initiatives, RevitaLash Cosmetics turn pink for the month of October to give back globally to the community from which it was founded by donating USD$2 for every pink-sleeved product sold to various breast cancer charities around the world.
RevitaLash UK has partnered with UK Charity Future Dreams because we believe small action can create a big change, so let’s make waves together!
Future Dreams has raised a staggering £6.5m over the past 12 years, pledging funds towards the charity’s three divisions: support, awareness and research, focusing on secondary breast cancer.
Future Dreams Breast Cancer Charity was established in 2008 by mother and daughter Sylvie Henry and Danielle Leslie after both were diagnosed with breast cancer, Danielle just 35 and a mother to three young children. Tragically, both women lost their lives to the disease within a year of each other in 2009.
Their dream was to make sure that nobody should ever have to face this illness on their own.
Every ten minutes a woman in the UK is given a breast cancer diagnosis and due to COVID over 1 million women have missed their breast screenings making self-checking more vital than ever before. The pandemic halted virtually all the charity’s fundraising events. To continue to be able to help and support those touched by breast cancer, your help and support is crucial.
The charity will be opening Future Dreams House later this year where those touched by the disease will be able to access complimentary practical support (in person and virtually) including image workshops, life-coaching, financial advice, nutritional advice on exercise and healthy eating, as well as other vital support services for those going through treatment and their families.
Away from a medical environment, people will be able to form friendships and networks to help them take on the disease from a place of solidarity and empowerment. Future Dreams House is located in Kings Cross and is within a minutes’ walk from the station, a site which is easily accessible to patients across the capital and beyond.
